Our Story …
We are excited to announce that we're taking part in Lunchbox Rally 2025!
In 2015 Laura and Jan (Kelsey's) grandma rallied in 2015 from canberra to townsville in the name of cancer research and in memory of all the loved ones they had lost.
Every year since kelsey has watched aunty lou tackle these rallies.
However this rally means alot to kelsey as it is in memory of Jan or better known has grandma as we sadly lost her too non Hodgkin's lympoma in 2017.
For the past 10 years kelsey has begged to go on a rally to help find a cure. So she finally gets her chance to help out.
Lunchbox Rally is the newest fundraising project by the people who do Sh*tbox Rally and Mystery Box Rally, these projects have raised over $50 million for Cancer Council in the last 14 years!
Part of the participation is that all teams need to raise $3,000. These funds go to Cancer Council and we are proud to be doing our part to support such a worthy charity. The fundraising is the hard part so we would very much appreciate it if you could donate to the cause and help us on our journey!
Here's what I'm doing …
Lunchbox Rally is not a race – it’s a fun adventure. Each night will be spent camping beneath the stars and celebrating the days achievements. It’s an incredible opportunity to see some of Australia’s vast and beautiful countryside and make new friends!
Lunchbox Rally 2026 will see teams set off from Dubbo and return to Dubbo 4 days later! Each night we will be stopping in remote outback locations to enjoy bush hospitality at its finest and be making memories that will last a life time.

The Impact, Outcomes & Charity
Lunch Box Rally is a dedicated fundraising event for cancer research with funds going to Cancer Council.
Cancer Council is one of the largest non-government funders of cancer research in Australia. We conduct and fund research studies across all cancers and all stages of the cancer journey.
Thanks to the community funds raised such as Lunch Box Rally we can fund world-class research that reduces the impact of cancer for everyone.
$59 million over the past 15 years has been raised by Box Rallies to date, supporting ground-breaking projects such as:
- A research study to develop a vaccine that protects against lymphoma cancers.
- A research trial to standardise international guidelines on melanoma removal.
- A research grant to revolutionise the treatment of pancreatic cancer.
These projects wouldn’t be possible without your support.
