Two Generations, One Mission: Beating Cancer

This September, my son Ron and I — Team Skittles — are setting off on a dusty, unforgettable adventure as part of the Lunchbox Rally 2025, all to raise funds and awareness for the Cancer Council.

But for us, this rally is more than backroads and breakdowns — it’s a journey driven by something much deeper.

Cancer has quietly, and sometimes loudly, touched our lives. We've watched people we care about face the hardest battles, some still fighting, some already missed. As a father, I want to teach my son more than how to drive a car through the outback — I want to show him how to drive hope forward.

This rally is our way of giving back. It's our chance to turn the wheel on something bigger than ourselves. Together, we’re aiming to raise $3,000 for the Cancer Council — funding research, support, and prevention to save more lives and bring comfort to those in the fight.

Here’s where you come in.
