Our Story …

We are excited to announce that we're taking part in Lunchbox Rally 2025!

Lunchbox Rally is the newest fundraising project by the people who do Sh*tbox Rally and Mystery Box Rally, these projects have raised over $50 million for Cancer Council in the last 14 years!

Part of the participation is that all teams need to raise $3,000. These funds go to Cancer Council and we are proud to be doing our part to support such a worthy charity. The fundraising is the hard part so we would very much appreciate it if you could donate to the cause and help us on our journey!

From Theo: I am going on an adventure as part of the LunchBox Rally to raise money for Cancer Council. I am raising money because I want everyone to be happy and healthy and for families not to be sad. I am learning how to fundraise so that I can continue to help people in the future. Thank you to eveyone who supports our team and I hope you much fun following my adventure and efforts.

From Emma: In 2018, 4 months after the birth of my second daughter; I was diagnosed with melanoma. Whilst I was fortunate to only have the scars to show, many of my friends and relatives lost their battles to cancer far too young. As a mother of 4, I am constantly worried about the increasing cancer cases and projections and the impact it will have on their generation, families and friends. Theo and I are participating in this once-of-a lifetime adventure to raise valuable funds to support crucial progress in cancer research.

Thank you for your contribution and support.

Theo and Emma

Here's what I'm doing …

Lunchbox Rally is not a race – it’s a fun adventure. Each night will be spent camping beneath the stars and celebrating the days achievements. It’s an incredible opportunity to see some of Australia’s vast and beautiful countryside and make new friends!

Lunchbox Rally 2025 will see teams set off from Broken Hill and return to Broken Hill 4 days later! Each night we will be stopping in remote outback locations to enjoy bush hospitality at its finest and be making memories that will last a life time.

The Impact, Outcomes & Charity

Lunch Box Rally is a dedicated fundraising event for cancer research with funds going to Cancer Council.

Cancer Council is one of the largest non-government funders of cancer research in Australia. We conduct and fund research studies across all cancers and all stages of the cancer journey.

Thanks to the community funds raised such as Lunch Box Rally we can fund world-class research that reduces the impact of cancer for everyone.

$50 million over the past 15 years has been raised by Box Rallies to date, supporting ground-breaking projects such as:

  • A research study to develop a vaccine that protects against lymphoma cancers.
  • A research trial to standardise international guidelines on melanoma removal.
  • A research grant to revolutionise the treatment of pancreatic cancer.

These projects wouldn’t be possible without your support.
