Our Story …
Hi, my name is Alisa, my dad is Artem (my mum is Anastasia and I also have a little brother named Yan and a big sister Eva, but they are not racing). We live in Sydney and looking forward for the Lunchbox rally in South Australia (I had never been in South Australia)!
We are hoping to get a donation for the Cancer Council because we entered competition, and want to compete. I also hope to have lots of fun in our adventure :) Our team is called Banana Bananchik and we are proud Banana lovers. We hope to get your support and would like to be proud with our donations. And we always eat Bananas.
Part of the participation is that all teams need to raise $3,000. These funds go to Cancer Council and we are proud to be doing our part to support such a worthy charity. The fundraising is the hard part so we would very much appreciate it if you could donate to the cause and help us on our journey!
Here's what I'm doing …
Lunchbox Rally is not a race – it’s a fun adventure. Each night will be spent camping beneath the stars and celebrating the days achievements. It’s an incredible opportunity to see some of Australia’s vast and beautiful countryside and make new friends!
Lunchbox Rally 2025 will see teams set off from Broken Hill and return to Broken Hill 4 days later! Each night we will be stopping in remote outback locations to enjoy bush hospitality at its finest and be making memories that will last a life time.

The Impact, Outcomes & Charity
Lunch Box Rally is a dedicated fundraising event for cancer research with funds going to Cancer Council.
Cancer Council is one of the largest non-government funders of cancer research in Australia. We conduct and fund research studies across all cancers and all stages of the cancer journey.
Thanks to the community funds raised such as Lunch Box Rally we can fund world-class research that reduces the impact of cancer for everyone.
$50 million over the past 15 years has been raised by Box Rallies to date, supporting ground-breaking projects such as:
- A research study to develop a vaccine that protects against lymphoma cancers.
- A research trial to standardise international guidelines on melanoma removal.
- A research grant to revolutionise the treatment of pancreatic cancer.
These projects wouldn’t be possible without your support.
